Active filter cabinet product introduction: accurate management of power quality
May 06, 2025Project Background
The Guinea Airport project mainly includes the construction of technical offices, control towers, etc. In the project, in order to solve the harmonic problem generated by the operation of airport equipment, active filter cabinets were specially customized and applied.
Various advanced equipment at the airport will generate harmonics during operation, which will interfere with the stable operation of the power grid and affect the normal operation of other equipment. The installation of active filter cabinets can monitor the grid current in real time and quickly generate compensation currents equal to the harmonics and opposite in direction, thereby effectively filtering out harmonics. This not only ensures the stable operation of internal equipment such as lighting systems and communication equipment at the airport, but also avoids equipment failures and safety hazards that may be caused by harmonic pollution, improves the power quality of the entire airport power supply system, and provides strong support for the efficient operation and management of the airport.
Application fields
Industrial field: widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, electronics, mining and other industries, used to control harmonics generated by nonlinear loads such as inverters, arc furnaces, rectifiers, etc., and improve the operating efficiency and reliability of industrial equipment.
Commercial field: In shopping malls, office buildings, hotels and other commercial places, it is used to improve the quality of electric energy, ensure the normal operation of various electrical equipment, reduce energy consumption, and improve the stability of the power supply system.
Construction field: In the electrical system of the building, it is used to reduce the impact of harmonics on elevators, air conditioners, lighting and other equipment, and improve the electrical safety and comfort of the building.
Power system: In power systems such as substations and distribution stations, it is used to improve the power quality of the power grid, improve the transmission efficiency of the power grid, reduce the damage of harmonics to power grid equipment, and ensure the stable operation of the power system.
